Wok

Erik has a tradition wok party during Christmas, just so everyone can get away from the Christmas food for a night. Here are som pictures from this year’s party.

The dress

As it is New Years Eve today, I will post my outfit from Christmas Eve, just to give you a hint for what I will be wearing today. I got a new, lovely dress from Erik that I will were, but this the wibe I’m going for.

The dress is from Tiger, the belt probably from Bianco as are the shoes. The earrings are my favorite orange ones that Erik gave me in New York. I really love that the dress is asymmetrical and two coloured.

Show me some moves

As life is slowly settling down as Erik is getting used to office hours and I have stopped applying for work, I have had time to look through more pictures. I just wanted to thank all our friends and family that helped us move. We have a lot of stuff, but it all took four hours and we were done.

This last pic is my outfit at our little house warming. I apologise for my expression, but look at the nice west I bought in Tunisia. I think I have to take it in a bit, but I love all the glitter 🙂

First night frost

I experienced this winter’s first night frost last weekend and it made me miss bright summer nights and light summer dresses. And then I remembered that I haven’t put out any of the pictures from this summer, so now there will be a litteral wave of summer nostalgia. Here goes:

First out, BBQ with the other young people at the museum of archaeology and natural history in Trondheim, where I did my masters degree.

My favorite photo object

Happy people (with thick jackets)

Mmmm, food!

I look happy because I am happy

The best way to end a party, with bubbles and sunshine. Nothing like the light at midnight in Trondheim.

Spillkveld

Bare noen bilder fra spillkveld for to uker siden.

Og bare for å ha sagt det, ubåten vår sank. Vi samarbeidet som best vi kunne, men det kom stadig nye branner og oversvømmelser og det er grenser for hva stakkars dverger på en atomubåt kan få til 😉

Takk for å få prøve morsomt spill, Kristian!

Fini

When there is no school and no work, holidays don’t really end. But now I have no more holiday plans (until September) and only boring (and scary) job application work to do.

But first:

Free shades from Hafslund and club night with Familjen at Parkteateret. The weather was wonderful and I have finally gotten some colour.

Music festival

I’m having a really good time. Ola’s apartment is a very good spot, the weather is nice most of the time and I have seen a couple of really good concerts.

Selvfiskede blåskjell, fersk rødspette, kake, is og selvplukkede bær. Livet er deilig for tiden)

The good life

Lighting the barbecue with a flame torch in the sun. Turned out to be a really nice evening yesterday. I even got to wear my new dress with birds on from the Orkneys, my favorite orange laquered belt and the new earrings inspired by ancient Afghan jewelry.

Today I’m writing more job applications. Woho!

Last night

Yesterday the faculty threw a big party for all of the master graduates. It was really nice seeing all of my biologists again and interesting to hear what they think of the future. Some already have jobs, some don’t have a clue what they want, others are applying for anything, some are trying to get PhDs like I am.

image

I wore a white dress and pearls. It was graduation after all.

image

And my favorite red ballet flats.

image

The weather was wonderful, even at ten in the evening.

image

People were having a good time 🙂

image

Kristin had just had her final oral exam (mine is on Thursday) and was very happy and exhausted at the same time.

I walked home at twelve and the summer night was beautiful.

17. of May – hurray!

First, breakfast with our neighbours, already in our finest.

Mandatory bubbles

A great start 🙂

We were just in time to join the parade in the rain

Happy people and their umbrellas

We hid in a coffee shop to dry and get warm. Woolen clothes were just right.

After a quick dinner we met up with GS, Erik’s group at Samfundet for some wine

Everybody loved Erik’s hat (inherited from his grandfather)

Fits him best, though

Then, a reception and more bubbles. Look at those pretty people

Many familiar faces at the reception 🙂

Even the leader of Samfundet. That was his last day.

More pretty national costumes

I think almost ten people tried the hat on during the day

Then there was cake!

It was a very good meeting. Two especially good speaches and a very worthy recipient of an honorary membership of Studentersamfundet, Eskild Pedersen.

<3

It was late, we were tired, so we went home

(some weren’t as tired as others)

Bunadlykke

I går tilbragte jeg 12 deilige timer i bunad i regntunge Trondheim.

image

Hurra!

(ja, jeg vet det er 16. mai)

Men HURRA!

Moar pictures

I think wordpress has started talking with my phone again, therefore:

#$%&/!

Who would have thought that applying for jobs would take this much time?!? Gah. But now I have officially applied for my first job and will rush into town to get the last half of the conference I should have been attending this morning… And tonight I’ll be in Sogndal visiting my brother! 😀 It will be nice with som relaxing and excellent food. And I have even remembered my camera 😉

See you on the other side of the weekend!

Zebra

Saturday was Lion King theme party at Regi and Erik and I were one zebra. We didn’t get a photo of the whole costume, but this is how our faces looked after Fride had painted us 🙂

image

We were in the elephant graveyard room where the light was green.

image

It was å wicked party and we watched the sun rise before we went to bed. Next weekend Erik might ser real zebras…

Crowns and smiles

The evening started out with dinner and wonderful crowns made by Tone. No comment on the size difference…

Then the party. These are my three brothers, Alexander (since we were 2), Ola (since I first grabbed him in high school) and Karl Enok, my real brother.

Pia and Sara are my girly girls. They help me do my hair, they help me with nail polish and style tips. Love you, girls 🙂

Look at those happy people 🙂

We even had Knauskoret stopping by to sing us some tunes. It was steamy and wonderful. They are my favorite chior at Samfundet. Thank you!

Sara had made baloons on her nails for the party 🙂

Erik got himself a new crown. Pretty, right?

There was a Harry Potter party at Samfundet that day, but as we got Harry Potter to come to us, we were well pleased.

And now, working on my costume for the costume party today 😉 So much social life, so little time… 😛

PS: all pictures were taken with Sara’s camera, but I don’t know who actually took all the pictures. But credz to Sara anyway 🙂
